Shake up your life: how to change your own perspective

Same routine over and over again. Wake up, have breakfast, go to work, come back, look after kids- the night is here. Next day you start again-same routine again. Do you feel bored, do you feel stuck in the same monotonous life?

Then it’s up to you to change something, to change your perspective.

Continue reading and you will find 3 steps to shake up your life.

1. Change your routine.

I’m telling you from my experience. I used to take my dogs for a walk for over an year: same time in the morning, same route, same park. It became so boring that I was already tired even before I was out. One morning I decided to change the route. Instead of going out from the front door, I took the back door. Do the same and you will see the difference. Change the boring routine. If you were going to work or shopping on the same route, change it! Go left instead of going right. You will see a new picture, new faces. Change the way you spend the day. Do you have dinner everyday in the same place, at the same time? Have a picnic today, or eat in the garden, or in the living room while watching TV. (I do not recommend watching TV while eating as a routine, but once in the blue moon would be fine!). Have breakfast in bed on your days off. You will feel more energized.

2. Regain your power.

Is it something in your life that you really need, that you have to change? Then focus on what you can change and you will already feel better. You will feel the need to be better and powerful and your perspective begins to change.

Due to monotony, I felt drained of energy, I felt that nothing can change in my life. The same routine made me feel tired. I was feeling that others are better than me. So I’ve tried to see life from a different perspective, to imagine a better life.

3. Imagination.

Imagine yourself on a beach, with a cliff behind you. You see the blue ocean close to you, the cliff behind you and the soft sand. Now climb the cliff till you get to the top. How do you see the surroundings? How do you feel the earth beneath your feet? Imagine yourself on a boat carried by the waves Learn to see a problem from various perspectives and will find different solutions. You may find that life is not as hard as you think. Every problem has a solution. Open up your mind and a new path and perspectives will come to you.

I encourage you to try any of these steps and test out for yourself. Does your open mind find solutions that you couldn’t even imagine before? Are you willing to find new solutions?



4. Be positive!

Always find the positive part of everything. Let's say for example that you are looking for a new job. Don't think that you might find or might not find what you really want. Just think that you already found the job you want and you will see how easy you will find the job.

5. Be grateful!

We all have moments when we think that we can't get over the moment. All you have to do is to remember something nice in your life and all the negative thoughts will disappear.

If you are not happy with your life, it's up to you to make a change. It takes only few minutes to change your perspective. Be positive, be grateful and you will feel the difference.
